Step 1. Install the latest version of your CineForm Software, available from the CineForm download page.
 
 
Step 2. Once the software is installed, go to the 'System Preferences' and click on the 'CineForm' icon in the 'Other' settings panel.

 
The CineForm Preferences window will appear.
 
 
Step 3. Click on the 'License' tab to load the licensing panel.
 

If you are running a trial version, you will see a message indicating how many days are left in the trial. To activate the software, you need to purchase a license for the full version.
 
 
Step 4. (Skip this step if you have already purchased) Click the 'Purchase' button to launch the CineForm Online Store into your Internet Browser, where you can purchase a License for your CineForm product.
 
After your order has been processed, you will be issued a Serial Number. Your Serial Number is not an activation key. It is essentially a 'proof of purchase'.
 
 
Step 5. Enter your Serial Number in the the box labeled 'Serial Number' and press the 'Request' button.

 
A 'Challenge Code' will appear in the window. That number is automatically sent to CineForm. Shortly thereafter you will receive an e-mail containing an 'Activation Code'.
 
NOTE: If you don't have e-mail configured on the computer, a browser window will open where you can manually request an Activation Code. If your browser does not automatically load the activation request form, you can manually browse there: http://www.cineform.com/activate.aspx.
 
 
Step 6. Once you have received your Activation Code, enter it into the box labeled 'Activation Code' and click on the  'Activate' button.
