UPDATE: This issue has been resolved in build 326 of NeoScene, Neo and Neo3D!
_________________________________________________________________
Simultaneous capture and convert to cineform files is currently not working in the latest builds. We're suggesting these two workarounds for NeoScene users:
you can capture just the m2t file and then convert to cineform files in a second step.
OR
uninstall the current build that you have installed. then download and install this build:
http://tinyurl.com/neoscene-261
then download and install the latest build on top of build 261.
http://tinyurl.com/neoscene-323
(non-NeoScene users can do the same with the NeoHD, Neo4k, Neo3D or Neo versions of the builds listed above)
Comments
The links to the workaround downloads on this page are incomplete and don't work.
Please send me the correct links or correct the links on this page.
Thank you...
Thanks, Jake!
Any news on the official fix yet Jake ???
It's still on the 'to do' list. For now, just use one of the two workarounds (either capture m2t only and convert in a second step or install the old build).
This has been fixed in build 326 of NeoScene, Neo and Neo3D. If you're still having this problem, please update to the latest build:

An interesting thread.
Fairly new to neoscene but found the last release (332) was not able to display the first couple of frames on a majority of clips.
Uninstalled and went back to v261. HDlink.exe was not reliable so moved forward through v316,v323 & finally v332. Each new version installed staight on top of the earlier version.
I made two tests at each stage. 1)Capture a few minutes of tape using scene detection and convert to avi (highQ) 2)Convert same clips that had been captured with HDVSplit (.m2t) to avi (highQ)
These clips were then loaded into Vegas Pro 10.
Once I got to v323 all clips were showing clearly in project media and the were no 'black' clips showing on the time line.
I finally arrived at a position were v332 was also working correctly. I then uninstalled v332, rebooted and reloaded v332. Back to square 1.
Uninstalled v332 and loaded v261 and installed each newer as before.
Back in a working state again.
Just how should new software releases be applied?

Usually you can just install over an existing build, but I usually uninstall the old build and then install the new one. If you're having a problem like the one above, please open a new support request and we'll troubleshoot it there. Thanks.
